Production of CBD oil
CBD oil is distilled using a method that has been in practice since ancient times that was used for the distillation of liquids. The liquid mixture is obtained by immersing the flowers of cannabis in alcohol, in which all cannabinoids contained in the flower get released.
Nowadays, several studies are being conducted to demonstrate the effects of CBD oil and the conclusions are encouraging. Essentially, most reveal that cannabidiol is safe and has minor side effects.
The researchers found that following a prescribed dosage of cannabidiol is safe and non-toxic to humans and animals. Also, there need not be any changes in food intake. According to these studies, high doses up to 1,500 mg per day are well tolerated in humans.
However, as with any remedy, side effects and interactions may occur when adopting CBD. Some of the most common side effects can be summarized as below:
Low blood pressure
The higher dose of cannabidiol could result in a small drop in blood pressure. If you are taking medication for blood pressure, consult your doctor before taking cannabidiol.
There is no proven evidence that confirms the possibility of drowsiness while using CBD. However, as a rare case, If one experiences such a condition, it is recommended to avoid work that requires mental-physical coordination.
Another side effect of the CBD oil is the uncomfortable dry feeling in the mouth (also called “cottonmouth”). Such an effect appears to be caused by the endocannabinoid system in inhibiting salivary secretion. Except for thirst, this side effect will not cause any further inconvenience.
Changes in appetite
Some studies report changes in appetite when treated with CBD.
These studies show that at times with the possibility of high-CBD marijuana strain, it slightly changed people’s appetite. But there were major changes in appetite among people who used a strain that was high in THC.
Dizziness is generally caused by a drop in blood pressure. But a higher dosage of CBD can lead to dizziness. This side effect is temporary and can often be resolved by drinking a cup of coffee or tea.
CBD can affect the digestive tract related diseases, diarrhea, or pancreatitis. To rule out harmful side effects, it is better to consult a doctor. If problems with the gastrointestinal tract have already occurred, the risk of negative consequences from the use of CBD oil is greatly increased.
Despite the side effects, it is clear that CBD oil can be very helpful. Of course, we still have a lot to learn about this modern adaptation of an ancient medicine Henceforth, there is a wide scope for research on how best to use CBD and its potential benefits in treating diseases. There’s a lot of work ahead, and this body of knowledge will grow every year.
The merits and demerits of cannabis oil have been studied for decades. The oil calms the nervous system, speeds up the regeneration processes and improves the distribution of bronchial secretions from the respiratory tract.
The therapeutic effect of the oil enables the product to be used in non-traditional medicine as well, to treat:
- Complex anti-cancer therapy;
- Complex gastritis, cholecystitis and ulcerative colitis of the stomach;
- Respiratory tract and relieve the discomfort in bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and asthma.

CBD oil for Pets
From time to time, our pets also fight some nasty diseases such as pain, post-traumatic stress, inflammation, skin problems, excessive hair loss, etc.
To help your pets recover from these conditions, CBD oil can be used as a dietary supplement or as an additional medication.
CBD oil acts on the endocannabinoid system receptors, which are not only present in the human body, but also in all mammals, fish, and mollusks. The oil acts in the body of animals in the same way as it does in the human body and is therefore recommended for safe use to treat pain or inflammation.
