What is CBD?
Cannabidiol or CBD is a substance that is obtained from the female hemp plant. Unlike the active ingredient THC, CBD is not expected to have any psychoactive effects. Cannabidiol has a relaxing, and analgesic effect. This substance is often marketed in the form of oil or capsules because it is easy to take and dose.
Who are the capsules good for

- Easy Dosing
How is the CBD contained in the capsules made?
In order to get to the CBD, the active ingredient must be extracted from the female hemp plant. The best known method for this is the so-called CO2 extraction. Through the targeted addition of CO2 under certain conditions, the CBD is separated from the other components of the hemp plant. The active ingredient is then mixed with the vegetable oil. This process is very complex and therefore also very expensive. But the effort pays off, because this method gives the oil a particularly high degree of purity.
The oil is then poured into the capsules in equal amounts. The capsules are usually vegan and, because of their natural composition, do not attack the stomach.

Liposomes can protect the CBD from degradation.
What are Liposomes?
Liposomes are microscopic small containers that looks like “bubbles” or small vessels, that are used to transport active ingredients inside of them.
The shell or layer of the liposomes are made of lecithin which is a phospholipid that occur naturally in the cell membranes of our bodies and due to that, the body recognizes the liposomes and allows them to merge with our own cells.
When the liposomes, carrying the CBD inside, are transported into our cells, the encapsulated CBD is safely released.

The capsules are taste-neutral and odorless, they are absorbed through the gastric mucosa and from there the active ingredient is distributed in the body. The tablets can be taken at any time of the day, and no food intake is necessary before or during the intake. In general, just like tablets, the capsules can simply be swallowed. However, there is the possibility of biting the capsule and keeping the oil in it under the tongue for a certain time.
