The pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect of CBD is becoming well received. The positive effects of CBD oil are being well accepted for treating many new diseases.

Several studies have already shown a connection between CBD oil and a positive effect in diabetics.

Dr. Allan Franken, a doctor of medicine, has had many good experiences with CBD oil, that helped his diabetes patients. It has helped alleviate diabetic problems such as inflammation and joint pain.

Dr. Allan Franken says, “It is worth trying it out” because you can hardly have any negative effects from it.

Diabetes – a growing problem – CBD oil – the solution?

The number of people sufferung with diabetes  is likely to increase even more in the future as the food contains more and more sugar, as well as the toxin levels in air and food.

More and more people are diagnosed with diabetes, which is why new treatments are being sought. One of the newest and most positive is CBD oil.

CBD oil for diabetes

The AAMC, American Alliance for Medical Cannabis has written a detailed report on the positive effects of cannabis and CBD. The following effects can be found in this report:

  • CBD oil can help stabilize blood sugar.
  • A major factor in suppressing arterial inflammation, which can lead to cardiovascular disease if not recognized in time.
  • CBD oil can prevent nerve inflammation and relieve diabetic pain in neuropathy. Among other things, this is one of the most common types of complications that a diabetic has. Here, CBD stimulates some receptors in the brain and the body of the diabetic affected patient.
  • CBD oil can be a positive factor in lowering blood pressure, which helps the diabetic reduce the risk of heart disease and other complications
  • CBD oil helps to keep the blood vessels open and thereby improve blood circulation
  • CBD oil can relieve muscle cramps and IBS disorders.

A study with CBD prevented the development of diabetes in non-obese mice. Although cannabidiol had no direct effect on glucose levels, treatment prevented the production of IL-12 with splenocytes. Preventing this cytokine is extremely important as it plays the main role in many autoimmune diseases.

Why does CBD oil help with diabetes?

Probably the most important physiological system in our body is the endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system has a direct connection to our brain, organs, tissues, and immune cells. The human ECS consists of the CB1 and CB2 receptors distributed in the body and some chemical signal substances.

The basic problem of every diabetic is that the pancreas does not produce enough insulin. That is why the body cannot transport the sugar from the blood into the body tissue. The famous researcher Dr. Raphael Mechoulam and discoverer of the CBD found that CBD can also affect the pancreas and its insulin production.

Inspired by him, research continued at Hadassah Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where it was discovered that CBD oil can prevent the development of type 1 diabetes. CBD oil can also improve the function of blood vessels in type 2 diabetes. These are the known advantages of CBD oil.

Interesting facts about CBD oil and diabetes

For a long time, there has been no such innovative and broad solution that has a positive effect on so many diseases, because the active ingredient CBD is very well absorbed by our ECS system and the active ingredient can be transported to the required place in the body.

Cannabis also has a metabolic effect, which allows our body to process calories faster and more efficiently.

Add to that the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, CBD oil is special because it can have so many positive effects at the same time.

The majority of doctors are still skeptical and do not yet trust the medicinal cannabis ingredients.

The Danish government has  started a large test starting in January 2018, in which many people suffering from chronic pain can benefit by legalizing CBD oil with a THC content lower than 0.2 mg per gram of oil. In Germany, CBD oil with a THC content of less than 0.005% is legal.

In addition, you should always pay attention to quality when buying, which is usually associated with a higher price.
